Visually a very nice bike... But they made the same mistake as usual.
although they thought about the daily side of things they obviously forgot the nightly one since there is (once again) no light.
Someone should tell them what a commuter bike is used for.
Jean, thanks for the comment. In 2008-2009, Specialized made a model called the Vienna Deluxe which had a Shimano Nexus dynamo front hub that powered a factor installed light that worked with minimal resistance. I don't know if the bike was a successful seller because the model was discontinued for 2010. Althought I liked it, some bike reviews were not the most positive because the Shimano hub/light had some consistency issues.
Another thought on why the Daily doesn't have a light is the cost. It certainly would be possible to purchase a Nexus front hub and install an after market, bar mounted light that Shimano makes.
Another option would be to purchase a light with a lithium battery and make the install yourself.
I have been impressed with what Globe is doing. I look forward to more high quality, high value bikes.
